Guest guest
Jaya Guru Datta, Here is today's saying: “To make unclear, what is clear is the work of Avarana Shakti. This Avarana Shakti will cause one to think that the object present is not present! But it does not veil completely. It gives accommodation to Vikshepa Shakti (the power of veiling). Although Atma, which in reality is present there, Avarana Shakti will cause ignorance due to which the individual thinks 'I do not know who I am'. Immediately, Vikshepa Shakti comes to play and will show (superimpose) Jeeva and the Jagat (on the Atman). Again the Avarana Shakti operates and makes the person to think that he is the body. Also, it makes the individual to think that the perceptible world is real. After all, is it not the nature of Avarana Shakti to veil the discriminatory intellect so that the individual does not distinguish between the real and the unreal? However, this Avarana Shakti cannot affect Ishwara (who has kept Maya under His control) and Atma Jnani. This is because, the aspect of Satva Guna is predominant in them. Therefore, both are of the form of Sat-Chit-Ananda."
