Guest guest
Jaya Guru Datta, Here is today's saying: “Let us consider an example. We see something shining like a piece of silver on a bright summer afternoon. It is an unlikely place to find a silver piece. Instead, it is a place where one can see a seashell. An intelligent person will soon realize that the shining object is not silver, but merely a piece of a seashell. Thus, he is able to realize that he is superimposing silver on the seashells. That means he is able to understand that the root cause of this apparent silver is nothing but the seashell. In other words, the understanding that there is no silver different from the seashell sets in. Such realization is termed 'Apavada'."
