Verse 16

 

Jnaanena tu tad ajnaanam yeshhaa.n naashitam aatmanah

/

teshhaam aadityavaj jnaanam prakaashayati tat param //

 

But in whom ignorance is destroyed by the knowledge of

the Self – that knowledge, like the Sun, reveals the

Supreme Brahman.

of the Self – that knowledge, like the Sun, reveals

the Supreme Brahman.”

 

Those whose ignorance of the Self has been destroyed

by the discriminative knowledge of the Self, that very

knowledge reveals the Supreme Brahman as the Sun

reveals the objects of the sense – world.
