Guest guest
Jaya Guru Datta, Yad Bhaavam Tad Bhavati ( As is your attitude,so you are) The more you think about your problems or talk of them to others, the more importance and power you are giving to them. Problems by themselves, in fact, are not there; it is only your mind which gives recognition and life to them. Your essential nature is happiness. Therefore, instead of feeling depressed and distressed, you should adopt a counter attitude that " I AM VERY HAPPY". Whatever you utter and say, it goes into yourself and it's effect is also on yourself, for the law is "YAD BHAAVAM TAD BHAVATI" . Hence , if you want to remain happy, you should always think and say that you are happy. This is not self-deception. The spiritual truth is that you are made in the image of God whose very nature is ' All Happiness' Therefore, it is sheer ignorance if you think or talk of unhappiness. Start developing a positive attitude right from now, and see how the so-called problems and unhappiness flee from you! Sri Swamiji.
