The Datta Jayanti celebrations at Datta temple, Baton Rouge, LA concluded on

Sunday Dec 22 Morning.

 

Saturday evening and Sunday's programmes were as follows.

 

Dec 21 :

6 -8 P.M : Hatha Yoga, Kriya Yoga and Meditation Class and

Discussion at the Jayalaxmi Mata Bhavan.

8 P.M - 8.30 P.M : Bhajans and Kakada Arati.

 

Dec 22:

8.30 A.M - 12.30 A.M : Nitya Puja, Kalasha Puja.

Pradaana Homam - Dattatreya Homam

Poornahuti to Datta Homam

Ksheera (Milk) Abhishekam to Lord Dattatreya and

Anagha Devi.

Kalasha Procession around the temple

Kalasha Abhishekam

Alankaram (decoration) to Lord Dattatreya and Anagha

Devi.

Bhajans, Mangalam.

Mantra Pushpam.

Conclusion of Datta Diksha.

Offering Datta Mudupu's (of all the Datta Diksha

Devotees) in the Homam.

Prasadam to sponsors.

Mahaprasadam to all the attendees.

 

The priests also chanted Shanti Mantrams and Ashirvachanams(Favorable Blessings)

for all the Datta Family.
