The entire human life is but a constant intersection between Subject and the

object i.e you as a Subject and the world outside as the object. The object of

the world are countless. You cannot count them as you cannot count the Stars in

the sky or waves of an ocean. Man's mind runs after one subject or the other,

and it goes, on and on all his life .What a folly and ignorance!

The objective world, which is outside,is considered as if it is the source of

one's happiness. Man has forgotten that he is actually the Subject and not the

Object . Once he realizes this, the manifold objects of this world will no

longer affect him. He will begin to abide in the supreme peace and bliss which

he himself is - being the subject.

With the dawn of realization ,objects of the world will stop striking the human

mind with their effect of pleasure and pain, one will be just a Witness!!

Recently appaji visited the Chennai ashram and stayed there for five days. on

all five days he stressed that it is very important to control ones mind and one

should not entertain unwanted thoughts. Allowing unwanted thoughts is a sin it

is equal to the sins committed physically. He also said that sins committed

physically can be washed away by punishments but sins committed mentally cannot

be washed. Hence MEDITATION is the best way to control our main. He also advised

everyone to practice pranayama atleast 5 to 10 times a day.
