Guest guest
The faces of Ego ( Aham ) or the sense of I - ness arising on the mind's plane are as countless as waves arising on the surface of ocean. A saadhaka ( aspirant must be very careful about them. Ego will manifest itself in a wealthy man, in his richness; in a political man, in his power ; in a scholar, in his scholarship; in an artist, in his name and fame; in an administrator, in his status; in a devotee, in his devotion; in a saadhaka, in his saadhana.......so on and so forth. What a paradox! For a Jnani ( the realized one), ego is a mere illusion - a shadow having no existence of its own; but for an ordinary man, the same ego is the thickest barrier between him and God obstructing the Devine Vision. Therefore, be guarded against ego. Remain always awake, to see. that it does not show its face.
