Worshipping Ganeshji with Tulsi leaves....yes/no?

Jai Guru Datta,

 

Tulsi leaves are described to be very good in the scriptures, all the Gods like

it, except: there is mention in the (secret part of the) puraans that Ganeshji

should not be worshipped with tulsi leaves.

 

Now there are people who do worship Ganeshji with tulsi leaves.

 

Now what is the subtle meaning of Sri Ganapathi or Lord of the Ganas(Obstacles)

not liking Tulsi leaves?
