Udayam brahma svaroopam, madhyahnam thu maheshwaram Saayankaale svayam vishnuhu trimoorthistu divaakaraha Meaning: The Sun protects and brightens the world with his great brilliance in the morning as Lord Brahma, noon as Lord Shiva, evening as Lord Vishnu himself. For those devotees who pray with devotion, humility and concentration, the Sun God immediately bestows good health, wealth and removes sorrows, loses and will be blessed with peace and happiness. There is no doubt regarding this. Sri Surya deva blessed Sri Hanuman with knowledge and invincible powers. After Jan 14, the Sun God commences the sacred northern course i.e. Uttaraayanam. With the blessings of Sri Ganapati Sachchidananda Swamiji we will perform Surya Worship on 25th January, 2003. Hence all the Devotees should utilize this occasion. This worship is more important in this year named Chitrabhanu - meaning the sun with vichitra (special, different) brilliance.
