Guest guest
where´s the problem? who tells you what i prefer or anyone else? As so many people tend to label their paths to be this or that and I found that all paths are in fact the same I asked Pradyumna this question and I did get the anser that satisfied me. jai guru datta. Guest guest
apropos of definition, the word "intelligence" is derived from the Latin term "intellegere", which means to read between the lines (inter=between), legere=read, so it doesn´t mean to only define, but to go beyond this definition (and judgemental) state. and then again, this is a matter of experience, and who does give us true experience? Satguru´s Grace, no definition books. jai guru datta > Sri Mata, > Jai Guru Datta > Sri Guru Datta > > In a university philosophy class, we spent many hours defining each > primary word used so as to create a shared meaning understood by all in > the most uniform, consistent possible way. Guest guest
Sri Mata, Jai Guru Datta Sri Guru Datta In a university philosophy class, we spent many hours defining each primary word used so as to create a shared meaning understood by all in the most uniform, consistent possible way. For without clear shared understanding of the meaning and nuance of each word, communication was muddled. We had essays if not mini theses on each word, and the etymology was studied too. Epistomology was foundational to this study. As for myself, I like intellectual understanding, but my preferred yoga is silent bhakti and nada yoga by listening to Sri Swamiji's music. Guest guest
Question: Ramana has said the Self alone exists. Does the Self judge and label persons and things as "good", "bad", "dharmic", adharmic", "wise", "stupid" and so on? And if it doesn´t, who then does? the ego? or is there anything else left between Self and ego that might judge? If the Self alone is real, one would have to come to the conclusion that judgements are unreal? Jai Guru Datta
Guest guest
Jai Guru Datta, Dear Karen, how should i say this...hhmmmm, dont worry about people who show their ego.
