Guest guest
A Christian devotee from Atlanta had attended the Kriya Yoga camp and in the course of three days of the camp, she was intensely drawn to Pujya Sri Swamiji. One particular morning, after the Sri Chakra Pooja was over, she presented to Sri Swamiji two big rolled posters of Jesus Christ drawn by herself. She had brought the poster pictures not only for presentation but also to take Sri Swamiji's blessings if she could make bulk copies of the same portrait for sale. The devotee concerned was making her livelihood by drawing the pictures of Jesus Christ and selling them in the market.) Pujya Sri Swamiji unfolded the rolled picture and found that the devotee artist had put 'Tilaka'(red mark) on the forehead of Jesus' portrait. On asking why she did so, she replied, 'Swamiji, I found no difference between your look and that of Jesus except that Jesus did not wear a 'Tilaka' and after I had done so, I felt the satisfaction of seeing Jesus as none else but Yourself. so, please Swamiji, allow me to adore the forehead of Jesus with the 'Tilaka' which adores so beautifully you forehead'. Pujya Swamiji was moved by the devotee's love. He kept the two pictures, one over the other, on his left thigh and placed his two palms, one over the other, upon the forehead of Jesus' picture; closed His eyes for about thirty seconds and lo! From beneath Pujya Swamiji's palm, two palm size symbols of the Holy Cross emerged. Sri Swamiji lifted them from the pictures and gave them to the devotee and said, 'Let Jesus look like Jesus- as He was! Don't make any change'. All those who witnessed the above phenomenon were emotionally charged with tears of joy and reverence for Pujya Sri Swamiji and more so the Christian devotee who tearfully exclaimed, 'My love for Jesus has been rewarded today, Jesus has appeared to me in the form of Swamiji'.
