Guest guest
Dear fellow devotees, Jaya Guru Datta We have been having a very lively discussions on jaigurudatta list for sometime now. For the convenience of devotees who want to keep discussions separate from Dattapeetham announcements - so that we don't miss out some of the important messages coming from Swamiji, we created a separate called DattaVani with Sri Swamiji's permission and blessings. This will enable people to have separate Email inboxes for Ashram announcements and discusssions. Therefore, devotees who are just interested in messages from Dattapeetham and its branches still get them without having to get discussion emails. Going forward, please send your Emails about your favorite quotes / scriptures and vedantic discussions to DattaVani list ONLY. Please to that list and continue to share some of Swamiji's teachings with everyone and discuss on opinions, personal interpretations and Vedantic subjects etc. You can to DattaVani list by entering your Email id and clicking the "Join" button below, or by sending a blank Email to DattaVani- , you will receive an Email with further instructions to verify your subscription. Guest guest
"Members of the list can share stories about the events of Sri Swamiji's visits, their personal stores of Sri Swamiji's grace in their lives, share his written teachings with each other, .." in my opinion the jaigurudatta list description has to be changed now, see above. jai guru datta
Guest guest
also, on which list does one from now on ask for e.g. bhajan translations or ask on which cd or tape a certain raga can be found and so on? does this also annoy others? on which list does one ask for the adress of a devotee, where´s the "border", what is it that some people do not feel annoyed by? ok, at least it is clear now that discussion about whether or not Swamiji wants us to feel annoyed by everything and everyone or not has now to be done on Datta Vani ;-) jgd. Guest guest
Jaya Guru Datta, yes, there are two different groups now. Obviously there is no automatic subscription of all jaigurudatta members to Datta Vani. Because many devotees get the jaigurudatta mails at work and don´t want to get all the discussions and experience reports at work in order not to clutter up their office email inboxes. There are only about 28 Datta Vani members so far. Bhajan translations would probably also clutter up office email inboxes too much? SGD Carolin > --Jaya guru datta ! > > I'm still confused.
