Although all of Sri Swamiji’s programs are free, there is an Indian tradition

based on the ideology that in order to initiate the flow of receiving, one must

give. In keeping with this tradition, one can choose to participate more fully

by donating $5 for the Sri Chakra Puja Cermony and $21 for Ganapati Homa. The

name and birth date of the participant is then recorded and given to Sri Swamiji

for more direct attention. All proceeds go to supporting the work of His

Holiness in feeding, healing and educating the needy.

Guru puja & Welcome function

Guru Puja commemorates the communion of Guru and Shishya (teacher and the

taught). Performing your worldly duties, act upon the divine exhortation to

realize the ultimate aim of human life. Human birth is rare and precious:

justify it. The shelter of a Satguru - perfect spiritual master - has been

acknowledged in scriptures of all religions. Guru paduka puja is very important

in Datta parmpara.

Suggested donation to participate and receive puja prasad $11

Sri Chakra Puja

- Each day Swamiji performs this Puja - in honor of the Cosmic Energy, Divine

Mother. Sri Swamiji make’s Sumeru with turmeric.

- This Puja is known for its healing vibrations, and it leaves those present

with a deep sense of peace, refreshed, relaxed & rejuvenated.

- During the puja, holy water is being poured on the Sri Chakra. This water is

refined and charged with spiritual energy and Ayurvedic herbs. The water is

given to the devotees as holy teertham and should be considered as a powerful

medicine. Even though its taste is bitter, its purifying results are remarkable.

Of course the experience is very personal and one has to participate to

experience it. Participants of the Puja receive prasadam in the form of a coin

which one can keep on the puja place, and a turmeric root, from which one makes

a paste and should use in the bath.

Suggested donation to participate and receive puja prasad $5

Lakshmi Narayana Puja

Lakshmi stands for all the glory and auspiciousness. The eight fold aspect of

Lakshmi (asta Lakshmi) stands for the manifestation of Prakruti. Prakruti and

Purushha form the essence of this creation. They are the Lakshmi-Narayana. We

pray Lakshmi for all the wealth and prosperity - for the eight-fold aspect. But

she is always with Narayana, One should pray together as Lakshmi-Narayana as

they are inseparable. New couple are advised to perform the puja to

Lakshmi-Narayana as they embark journey together

- reminding themselves the purpose of all their worldly pursuits together

- that is going after Lakshmi is only to secure the grace of Lord Narayana

- who is the ultimate shelter for all the nara-s

- the beings.

- reminding themselves that they should be like the first couple -

Lakshmi-Narayana.

Suggested donation to participate and receive puja prasad $21

Ganapati Homa

Every Sunday Ganapati Homa is offered for the removal of obstacles. The Homa is

a fire ceremony, symbolic for burning away or removing obstacles for physical,

mental, and spirtual growth. The therapeutic effect of this ritual is very

rewarding.

Suggested donation to participate and receive puja prasad $21

Datta Venkata Puja

The main and foremost diety for worship in this Kaliyuga is Lord Venkateshwara.

(Kalau Venkata Nayakaha) He is visible as Datta Venkateshwara in the Avadhuta

Dattapeetham. To worship such a great Lord, that too on a Saturday is very

special indeed. We are fortunate to worship the idols blessed by Sri Swamiji on

this auspicious day.

Suggested donation to participate and receive puja prasad $21

Healing Music Concept

The healing concept of music, though known, is still poorly understood. Both the

skeptics and scientists have ridiculed the healing aspects of celestial music.

Yet no one denies the soothing effect of the same music. Sri Swamiji has been

conducting spiritual music with a remarkable success both in India and abroad.

It is a well known fact that when the Immune system is at a low, infection

occurs. Imbalance in mind and body affects the immune system. Spiritual

‘celestial’ music induces relaxations by soothing the nerves that are associated

with mind which in turn keeps our immune system healthy.

Music

Sri Swamiji is the perfect master who knows the tunes (Ragas) and rhythm that

affects our nerves (Nadis) and astral centers (Chakras). He has revived the

musical therapy which was forgotten and lost. Indian traditional music is known

to affect the Soul. Ancient Ragas have been revived by Sri Swamiji. Sri Swamiji

uses modern instruments to play his own compositions. The music raises

conciousness of a person, who as a result experiences the power of supreme

energy, the guiding force of life. The music provides fresh vigour, instinct and

confidence. Music therapy is an experience in itself. Concet is free, donations

are accepted

Kriya Yoga Classes by Krishna Maharaj (Trinidad)

Kriya Yoga is the surest and most efficient means of finding inner peace and

happiness. Kriya Yoga is both a science of meditation and an art of life. Kriya

Yoga has descended from Lord of Creation through Maharsi Patanjali. The purpose

of Kriya Yoga is to minimize bodily and mental afflictions and improve single

pointed concentration. The afflictions are arrested in Seed Form. Sri Swamiji

will give blessings to all students at the end of class.

Suggested donation to participate in 3 afternoon’s course $51

Vedanta Classes by Swami Manasa Datta

Vedanta is a Sanskrit word which literally means ‘the end of the Vedas’ - the

Vedas being the scriptures of the Hindus.

The principles of Vedanta are impersonal, universal, and eternal. They are about

God, soul, and the world. Vedanta teaches that each soul is potentially divine -

the infinite ocean of Existence, Knowledge, and Bliss. The goal of human life is

to manifest this innate divinity through meditation (Raja Yoga), devotion

(Bhakti Yoga), selfless action (Karma Yoga), and discrimination (Jnana Yoga).

Vedanta preaches the unity of the Godhead and accepts every faith as a valid

means to realize God. As the Rig Veda, the oldest scripture of the Hindus,

declares, "Truth is One, sages call it by various names." Vedanta is a religion,

a philosophy, and a way of life.

Suggested donation to participate in 3 days (afternoon’s) course $51
