Guest guest Posted August 19, 2003 Report Share Posted August 19, 2003 JGD, today got about ten emails with contaminated attachments, which, however, my antivirus software destroyed immediately. once more, there seems to be a virus/worm that accesses e.g. ms outlook, copying addresses there, sending a contaminated mail to one address, faking to be sent from another address, which, however, it copied from that same email address book from a computer without uptodate antivirus software. so keep your antivirus systems up to date, otherwise don´t open any attachments, even if the mails seem to be sent by someone you know. so just as we should keep our minds clean - citta shuddhi - we should keep our computers clean also. i do know that this list doesn´t allow any attachments, but thought maybe this warning could help as for other mails, e.g such that seem to be sent by other devotees, but have strange attachments.
