We experience problems and unhappiness in our lives due to past karmas. One of the best ways to burn karma and past sins is to perform Anagha Vratam. Lord Dattatrêya in His householder's form is known as Anagha Swami and His consort is Anagha Dêvi. Sri Anagha Devi is an incarnation of Sri Lakshmi Dêvi. In Krita Yuga, the King Kartaviryarjuna performed this vratam for invincibility and to attain the Ashta Siddhis. In Treta Yuga, King Dasaratha and his son Lord Rama performed the Anagha Vratam. In Dwapara Yuga, Lord Sri Krishna narrated Anagha Vratam to Dharmaraja. In Kali Yuga, Anagha Vratam has been revived in recent times by the grace of our Sadguru Sri Ganapathi Sachchidananda Swamiji. We all are very fortunate for that. "It is recommended that everyone should perform this Anagha Vrata to remove and prevent the obstacles that are placed in our path towards spiritual progress. By obtaining the blessings of Lord Dattatrêya, devotees can achieve spiritual bliss, physical comforts, and become harbingers of peace and tranquility in society." ----- Sri Ganapati Sachchidananda Swamiji Sri Guru Datta Dyc-Houston
