For some reason, today I recalled Swami Narahari Teertha Swami. The

following speech was given by Swamiji in August of 2003 during the

Nada Prasaara tour in Huntsville.

 

I would like to highlight Sri Swamiji's speech on the great

personality of Sri Narahari Teertha Swami once here. Sri Narahari

Swami is a role model for us all to emulate and learn from. His

personality was truly exemplary as can be understood from the

biography of Sri Swamiji, as well as from the following speech of Sri

Swamiji.

In summary: He used to give good teachings to surrounding villages

where he lived. He spent his waking moments doing Aum Namah Shivaya

Japam and donated the fruits of his sadhana to Swamiji at every

opportunity. As Swamiji himself describes: He was a simple man, very

purposeful nature, truly humble and friendly towards all including

even with his own son, Sri Swamiji, very detached, and always content

with whatever came his way... Please re-listen to the quicktime movie

May we all learn from the great example of Swami Narahara Teertha

Swami, the very incarnation of Lord Shiva himself...
