Guest guest
Dear Guru Bhais & Gurubheans : Jai Guru Datta Most of you who have visited the Mysore Ashrama ... must have visited the shrine of Bayalu ( in Kannada means Field ) Anjaneya in the outer Prakaram of the Sri Datta Venkateshwara Temple. This is our Sri Karya Siddhi Anjaneya .... Every time Sri Swamiji visits the Sri Datta Venkateshwara Temple.... He has something for Him ... either a Tulasi mala Or a Garland of Jasmines ... ! Many of you may also be aware that Sri Swamiji has instituted a wish fulfilling procedure for His devotees. This has its origin from the Ramayana ! It has been the practice in many other Datta ashrams all over the country. It is that of Tying a " Poorna Phalla " ( Coconut with its outer shell direct from the tree ) for 16 days, near the Lord. Generally it involves making a Wish & Chanting the Sri Karya Siddhi Anjaneya mantra 108 times per day for the entire period. Thousands of devotees from all over the state of Karnataka & even from different parts of country have been coming to Mysore to tie coconuts. The devotees whose wish is fulfilled ... want to thank Him & want do some thing more to the Son Of Lord Wind ... so they offer a " Vada mala " ( Malas made of Vadas - a Chilly - salt based Doughnut), Or decorate him in different ways. Some of the Devotees have written in a book kept at the Pooja Counter.. their own experiences of how it has helped their lives. Possibly obtaining ... what they have been wishing to have for many years ... ! These are some of the Wonders of our Sri Karya Siddhi Anjaneya ... !
