Guest guest
Jai Guru Datta I am not a scholor in Sanscrit. And the scholors who were giving the explanations, well, they are giving the explanation only our Swamiji's Bhaktaas can give. So polite,so informative and above all very humble.I am glad that I have this great guys as my family members. Coming to the plural of Guru,in some south Indian languages,to put more reverence to an otherwise singular noun/verb/person, they use the plural. eg. Addressing royalty, says the king.."we" when he mentions him singularly. When somebody mentions the father of another person who is reverred by this person,he adds the plural to "Appa" and says" Appaavaru. People use (Tamil spoken in the northern borders)," Appaanga" adding "gall" to "Appa" . Adding "gall" to a singular term and then making it plural is common in Tamil,a south Indian Language. I too expect Vanmshiji's famous razr sharp comment on this. jgd Jai Guru Datta,Jaya Guru Datta Jai Guru Datta Messenger with Voice.
