Guest guest
I just know you're goin' to love this, brother! Last night @ 3AM I was reading your email to the Hindu site about Ganesh and I guess it started something rollin' in my mind because it helped me remember, this morning when I woke, a very interesting encounter that I had with Ganesh on Wednesday! I had completely forgotten it until this morning(you know in those first few wake up minutes when things are part dream and part real?!) This past Wednesday, 07/18/01, Luke and I were on our way to our bi- weekly visit to my grandmother's house. I happened to take an alternate route down Armenia to prevent monotony. While I was driving this route I happened to pass a small store that caught my eye. It was called the Ganesh Grocery. Well I didn't think much of it. Just a few minutes after seeing this store a green mustang decided to change into my lane while driving exactly parallel with me! Well I had to immediately slam on my brakes and swerve into the curb to just BARELY miss getting sideswiped! I have been in close calls before, but I swear Bill, that was the closest I have ever come to getting hit without actually having it happen! I could see the door of the mustang right next to my window! I don't know how I got out of it that closely! Anyway, it would not have been a terrible accident, but it would have shaken me and Luke up, not to mention the hassle of insurance and repairs and such, plus I would have been late to my grandmother's! I wonder how much my Life could have been effected by that accident. I certainly wouldn't have been in the best of moods the rest of the day. And that alone could have upset my path completely! I don't want to make too much of it, but I just think it is even more interesting that I just remembered this morning about the Ganesh connection. Due to being so shook up after the close call, I forgot to recognize the Ganesh moment in the middle of it all. Not only was I protected by God in that moment, but in my eyes, he removed a very large obstacle from my path! He took the strain of dealing with an accident, minor as it was, out of my path in order to keep my focus and not lose sight due to that extra hassle. Wait, it gets better! I just realized something else writing this to you! Last night the last thing I read on the computer before I went to bed was your Ganesh story. Immediately after turning off the computer and getting up to go to bed I noticed the incense packet that Michelle bought earlier the same day. Well it just so happens that she purchased this new brand(to us)of incense from a different store than our usual. The label read 'Gonesh'. I guess I was too tired to put the two together, your email and the name of the incense. But now that I have a clearer mind I realize that the incense is what reminded me, this morning, of my Ganesh moment on Wednesday! The incense(and your email) was the last thought I went to bed with and somehow during the night it jogged my memory to wake me with the recollection! I don't know about you, but I'm amazed!! We'll talk more about this. I just couldn't wait to get this to you once I realized it! Shawn
Guest guest
Dear Bill, Thank you for sharing your friend's email with us. Its too out of the ordinary to be called a 'coincidence' with the grocery store, the Mustang and the incense. It was indeed the mighty Ganesh who graced your friend. Glad he came out of Wed., ok and and fine. Lovely too that he recognized "Lord Ganesh". May it bring for him many wonderful journeys henceforth!
