Do they influence each other and develop alongside each other? Do the Jains reverence Ganesh? I heared they did not believe in God? Does anyone know if Jains believe in God? HINDUISM. have not done study work on JAINISM but think they too beleive in GODS eg PADMAVATI , shehe goddess form in jainism & is actually a form of MAHAKAALI & MAHALAKSHMI! then ,PANCHAGULI ,a very powerful tantrik sadhana & it too is a form of KAALI. jains ,in one of their temples have seen yantras of HRIM which again proves the overlapping. as to GANAPATI am not sure buut yes i have many friends who are jains & offer prayers to GANAPATI & LAKSHMI on the DIWALI FESTIVAL. not only this ,all of them beleive in GODS & have been regular visitors to different temples. regards rajat , "Bill Rogers" <wondermagazine@a...> wrote: > How much does Jainism overlap with Hinduism?
