Guest guest
Well, I saw what Jennifer said about NYC but I'm down here in Tampa and my friend Kumar is a nurse and is on 24 hour call to NYC. Hmmmmm.....it's really crazy how it is pulling this whole country together. You can feel an unknown comraderie and team spirit. It took something like this to get us out of our dormancy and into active participation w/ each other. It helped us discover a hidden national strength, which I believe is also a hidden HUMAN (thanks rajat) strength. I for one have no desire to isolate based on racial, religious or cultural differences. I really want to connect and learn from all my brothers and sisters. as we native Turtle Islanders like to say: Mitakuye oyasin, all my relations--we are all related. Guest guest
Namaste Bill, Sorry to hear Tampa is still affected. Hope things aren't as grim as it is in NYC. How is your friend Kumar? Hope he gets some rest in between. We are still getting daily and nightly coverage in Australia and our people, media and government are highly sympathetic and supportive. Churches and schools have organized prayers and rememberances across the country and all who attend are from different religious backgrounds.
