Guest guest Posted September 17, 2001 Report Share Posted September 17, 2001 As I was reading through the scriptures today I came across some passages that seemed to reflect the same principle about harmony with God: Skanda Purana- For those who do not worship, who are intent upon lies and anger, and are committed to fierce savagery, he will create obstacles. He [Ganesh] will remove obstacles from those who revere traditions, knowledge and teachers. Without worshipping him all actions and laws shall become obstructed. Deuteronomy- If you fully obey the Lord your God and carefully follow all his commands.....all these blessings will come upon you.....however, if you do not obey the Lord your God and do not carefully follow all his commands and decrees I am giving you.....all these curses will come upon you and overtake you.
