Guest guest
I hope this message of mine won't come up in html mesh like the one before. What you've mentioned is interesting! Fancy having Ganesa inside a mosque! Those are lucky Muslims indeed, seeing relevant religous chiefs of the mosque didn't protest or remove it. Oman sounds interesting too - my guess is that they used "local architects" who have better ideas about constructing mosques rather than Hindu Temples, hence the resemblance but without the pillars. In the two places you mentioned, did they have the Crescent Moon and Star symbols? But there is something interesting my friend saw outside Bombay in India. In this mosquie (he even has a photo I saw) was a statue of Ganesha! In addition, the other interesting opposite thing is when I was in OMAN, I went to two Hindu temples. It was interesting because the temples looked just like mosque, but without the pillars on the side.JenniferEnjoy being an Indyan at http://www.indya.comTo from this group, send an email to:-http://www.geocities.com/aumganesh/ Your use of is subject to the Get email alerts &; NEW webcam video instant messaging with Messenger.
