Guest guest
Bit late of me to respond, been held up by friend's illness (been looking after this person for 2 months) but here are some snippets/thoughts: True friendship is one soul shared by two bodies. (Mexican Proverb) The frog does not drink up the pond in which he lives. (Native American Proverb) People come into our lives, for a reason, a season, or a time.... (LDP) A bold enemy is better than a cowardly friend. (Scottish Proverb) The wolf will hire himself out very cheaply as a shepherd. (Russian Proverb) Fate will bring two people together though they are separated by one thousand miles; Fate will prevent two people from meeting though they are standing face to face. (Chinese Proverb) A friend to all is a friend to none. (French Proverb) False friends are like autumn leaves, found everywhere. (Unknown) Found on a card: Some people know the way to make each day seem more worthwhile - They seem to catch the sunshine and then wear it in their smile, They really take an interest in the little things you do, You know they'll share your problems and will always see you through, They give with generosity that never seems to end - They know the precious secret of just how to be a friend. (Amanda Bradley) Om Ganesa, Sy ================ Pardon my repost of this topic. But I just really want to hear your opinions on this. And, please forgive my questions if they seem a little elementary. O.K. Here's the post:I am interested in the topic of FRIENDSHIP. I would love to hear everyone's views on FRIENDSHIP. Also, in older stories, did Ganesh ever have a close friend? Who was that? I would be interested in hearing about the friendships of other gods too. I know that Rama has Lakshmana. Are they supposed to be very close? What is Hanuman's relationship to Rama? Isn't Rama an incarnation of Vishnu? Does Hanuman interact with Rama or Vishnu or both? Also, I am interested in any Indian or other Asian views of FRIENDSHIP. Thanks. Bill Get email alerts &; NEW webcam video instant messaging with Messenger.
