Guest guest
Well, as many of you know, I had a stuffed panda named Jonathan Wu. Jonathan was named after the name of a man who translated the Tao Te Ching into English. He was given to me by my mother when I recently moved into my current apartment. As I am preparing to move again, Jonathan and I were talking one day over tea and he made it pretty clear to me that he had so many nice memories of living here that he preferred to stay. He assured me of his constant love and devotion but I realized he really needed to stay here and sort of guard all of our good memories here. I will miss cuddling up w him at night though. And now he smells just like me--my cologne that is. Hey, what can I say. I'm a 33 year old guy who is still single. Jonathan got alot of love. O.K. So, we came to an agreement that he stay on here with my neighbor Steven upstairs, who likes to play show lots of movies, and whose two cats Baxter and Rain can keep Jonathan busy most of the daylight hours. And at night ofcourse Steven will sleep with Jonathan....yeah. So, anyway, we agreed on it. As soon as we both knew that's what we wanted, and as soon as Steven agreed to help us out, I had a strong feeling come over me that soon I would be given another stuffed animal. Hmmmm......go figure. So, last night I was at church with my girlfriend Paula and her husband John. She had a small stuffed white rat named Cheeser that belonged to her daughter, Roan. As soon as I saw Cheeser, my first reaction was to pick him up and begin to discuss Ganesa's vahana the rat. It was funny too since Steven has been calling me Ganesh lately (no claims to be a god here) due to this funny way that I can cause my stomach to look. I'm not really fat at all. Infact, lately, I've been in the best shape ever due to lots of crunches, pushups, swimming, walking and biking. However, if I pose just right I can really get my stomach to get that 'universal' look. So, Paula told me that I had to keep the mouse with me. So, that is how Mushika came to live with me and I am very happy. Bill
