Guest guest
Earlier on this message board I had mentioned a man who came into my store who discovered my HANUMAN: MESSENGER OF GOD book laying on a table and had picked it up to look at it. When I came back he was holding my book in his hands and had it close to his face and he was just staring at it. Well, I have been wondering about him alot. Anyway, the other day, I saw him again in the cafeteria where he works. I would really like to talk to him but I am wondering if I should. I am just going to wait and see what happenes naturally. However, if I see him again and it seems natural I'll try and talk to him. I remember when he saw me come up he apologized for handling my book and I told him not to worry. I said he could have it if he wanted, and then he looked at me sort of suprised and asked it it was MY book. I told him sure but I could order another copy. Anyway, he smiled and disappeared. I would love to talk to him again. But, maybe I'm thinking too hard. See ya, Bill
Guest guest
Bill HI. I am in desparate search of Hanuman Books. Can you please give some more details about this book so I can try to find it here inUSA? There are few other good books on Hanuman: Hanuman Vigrah Sundar Kandam OF COURSE- Ramayana! Sundar Kandam is a detailed version of what happens to Hanuman in the Ramayana. The best version is purchased from any Ramakrishna Math. These books are with my friend right now, so If anyone wants further details, I will email him and ask. BTW did you meet that guy? I also got one nice comic book for children. In that I learned an interesting fact about Hanuman. When we see Hanuman in some photos he is carrying a mountian. So does anyone know why he carries a mountian? Small bit of trivia. If no one knows, I can tell the answer:) Jennifer

Yes, he came into my store to buy playing cards and we chatted. He remembered me. I asked his name and he said it but I couldn't understand so when I asked again I think he was embarrassed to pronounce it. So, I call him V. > I also got one nice comic book for children. Well, I think he was going to get herbs to help cure Lakshmana, and I think he had to go to the Himalayas for them, and when they were hard to bring back I think he decided to just bring the whole mountain. How close was that? Bill
Guest guest
Bill That is pretty cool! So, how's V? Anyhow you got it right! It turned out I was replying to the mails as they were ordered and near the end I saw the Hanuman email. That actually had the answer in it Jennifer

I have been playing this song by Krishna Das alot. It's goes like this: I bow again to Anjani's son Victory to Sita and Ram, Victory to Hanuman Victory to the one with the body of a thunderbolt, My baba, Hanuman You are home of all GRACE Destroy all my problems, calamities and sufferings Hail my Lord Hanuman You are my guru, bestow your GRACE on me You are the destroyer of suffering, the abode of GRACE You wear a red langotta and carry a red flag I can sing along with this song, even thought the words are in another language than english i can understand most of them very well. I was shocked to find out how many words I already knew on my Ganesh cd as well. pretty neat. Jen, you know I was thinking. Why don't you live in Tampa? I think you and I would always be hanging out at each others' houses. Hey, do you know any more people like yourself from this area. It would be good to make some local connections with likeminded people. Right now I have a friend named Randy whose apartment is full of Ganesh images. Well, I have to run. Guest guest
> Bill So, how's V? > Jennifer Well, I only have seen him that one other time. I am hoping that he will come in again or that our paths will cross in some ausipicious way. I do not worry too much about this though. Ram nam karne se, sub pura hojata.... I only wish that he would know that I am interested in learning to spell and pronounce his name the correct way, and I was still wondering about his interest in the Hanuman book. By the way, here's the information on the author of HANUMAN: MESSENGER OF GOD: http://www.stolaf.edu/depts/religion/rambacha.html Hope you enjoy the book. Mr. Rambachan is such a friendly guy. I am very pleased to have two more books of his now--both on Rama. Have a great day! Bill
