(I am developing a southern accent? I had a nice New Year in Montreal, a nice COLD new year! But fullfilling since there is a nice Murugan temple there. Spent some time there and got archana done. Bill I wanted to comment on your drawing... I love it! I wish I could draw Ganesha so well. I try, but use the Hindu Om to draw Ganesha. There is a saying the Ganesha form is the perfect Om. Anyhow I can detail that later. You have also put all the elements, except one I can see, the sacred thread. Ganesha is a Brahmin and all Brahmin males (excluding some for supersitious reasons) wear the sarcred thread from left sholder to right waist line. You can see it somewhat on the pic my friend kamakshi drew here http://members.tripod.com/~jennifer_polan/ I was wondering if you would like me to post your Ganesha picture on my homepage? I will look at some other pics off Ganesh and I saw your friend's. I would like to redo this image in darker colors. If I do, I'll send it. Jennifer, I would be honored by that. You see, my whole connection to Ganesh started through images of Ganesh that other people created, and I happened to see them. Hopefully people will be able to see our images of Ganesh and be drawn to them as well. It's all one effort I guess. Anyway, to me it's just god right here in all of us beholding god right here in all of us....something like that. YES!! By all means, get the image out there.
