Guest guest
Rajat You are absolutely right in what you say. I unconsciously feel like that sometimes because unfortunately in daily life I feel that many do not agree with me. And so, I feel shy or restrain from telling how or what I think sometimes thinking others will fight back. I know it is not good, I will work on this. I am 26. Guest guest
Hi Jen, Hope you won't mind me responding to your message to Rajat. Just wanted to say I used to have the same experiences when younger. Found that though people may not always agree with us, we should not feel inclined to repress our thoughts and feelings. Repression, oppression and suppression cause "inner conflicts" which we can do without. Exchanging view points, thoughts are feelings are healthy means of 'commmunication' although sometimes we might have been talking to 'brick walls'. Just never let anyone who disagrees with you, get you down. We get that sort of people around everywhere, especially here in Ozland! Got to say, most here would vent their thoughts in Ozzie lingo which has a way of making people laugh, see the light side but yet get the message from the venting party, without feeling offended. For my part, I'd learnt to simply say my piece gently, conscientiously but firmly, then leave it at that and get on with life. As we are among brothers and sisters here, there are no holds barred whenever you feel like saying something or letting off steam even. We share and learn from one another.
