Guest guest
Mantras for me mainly (silent meditations). Veggie and Vegan - tried that but body-physical-makeup didn't agree with either. Turned sickly for yonks. I was told we are made up of proteins and need some forms of proteins to sustain us. Didn't listen too much to the heavily protein-laden blah-blahs and went my own way to semi-vegetarian instead. Bit of fish, seafood and chicken every now and then only. My faves are still veggie curries! The hotter, the better. Sorry to hear you didn't find Iyengar suitable. I couldn't hack that either (that was about 10 years ago though...) Perhaps when you have time, probably best to look at various Yoga websites, read the systems/traditions they teach then see if any appeal to you before going out to buy books or joining classes. Just an idea only. Om Shanti, Sy vaayel <vaayel > wrote: Hi groupI was wondering if anyone in this is practicing yoga or vegetarianism? I just bought a yoga book (kinda dummies yoga book cause I am not into philosophy so much) and tried it from a video. But it is Iyengar and I don't suit to that type. I have been a vegetarian for five years. Just wondering about the rest of ya all :)Jen Send FREE Valentine eCards with Greetings!
