Guest guest
I can see Mushika bright & clear! Just curious - may I enquire about the symbology of that cutie with the longish/pointy ears? I know its a rabbit but it kinda reminds me of the "Mane ki Neko" (Japanese fortune-beckoning cat). Thanks for sharing and pls keep 'em coming! Perhaps these things work themselves out on a more subconscious level and then arise spontaneously. I think the comparison is an apt one. Thanks for your reflections! The rabbit can mean different things for different people. For me it is a symbol of creative potency. See, for native Americans it means among other things, humility. I think it's important to be humble in life so you see things as they truly are and you see God as god truly is. Also, this affects how you see those around you. You begin to see God in all of them. In general a rabbit is the symbol of fertility which I feel is very important, as this is the power to create or co-create. Yeah! And the crown and Eucharist above him are a symbol that God is in control. The Eucharist is a Christian symbol of our God Yesu, and the crown is symbolizing rulership. That's all. Thanks for your interest. The paintings may have more meanings than these few things. I hope that they are dynamic and not too didactic. Guest guest
Pleasure is mine. The right paw being raised (as in the M.K.N. cat) beckons good fortune; if it were the left paw it beckons visitors or customers, i.e. in Jap. symbology. Can't help but see it that way, glad ya can relate. Thanks for sharing ya gret show; tried ta sign ya Guest Book but it kicked me out..... :-(( Some kinda "Frame-something" required, whatever that it..
