GAwd. I forgot. I forgot that I layed out that kind of money for

the book but I did. I should at least dust it, I guess - it's been

sitting on my shrine for months. The reason his books cost so much

is that so few people are interested in buying them...there's a

moral there, I suppose...

Regarding initiations: Padmasambhava, ultimately and absolutely is

(and always has been) a manifestion of your true heart-mind

(or "Self", if you will). And your Self is a manifestation of

Padmasambhava. It goes, at least, both ways...probably more but our

consciousness fields need to be stretched some before we can grok

this...initiations from a competent guru, it must be admitted,

grease the skids...and competent gurus are apt to appear in the most

unexpected and intimate places...when the student is ready...

Ol' P liked his booze and he liked his girls and he liked his

periods of retreat... and he'll always be Shiva to me....

If its sitting in your shrine...can you at least tell me more or less

what is the content of the book? I can´t even find a description of the

chapters on the net....

Yes, well I guess there must be a reason for the high price...

Thanks!

The title is THE TEACHINGS OF PADMASAMBHAVA. I'm throwing it in my

tote bag to start reading on the train which I take daily into

Manhattan. I glimpsed into the book and realized it was NOT

something one can quote glibly.

Stay tuned and ask the Universe to send me verbalizeable

understandings...
