By the way...I am doing ganesha´s with dentist plaster...don´t laugh it works perfect, it looks like stone, carved stone and it dries very quickly and its easy to paint...sorry dentists! I´ve revealed your secret techniques for doing brand new teeth...their plaster is really cheap but the teeth they sell you is outrageously expansive!!! so Scott don´t you dare brake your teeth with the dorje ein??? Guest guest Posted December 11, 2002 Report Share Posted December 11, 2002 hahahah Now seriously...I´ve read there are some vajrayana protections to do during meditations or if you have a shrine or simply if you wish to protect a space, a land and so on...there are four types of vajra protections apparently but where I´ve read it they don´t explain it, I thought you may know about it...its not important I was just wondering how it was...the vajra tent is a kind of imaginary protection tent that some vajrayana teachers and practitioners build up with their minds to protect the space, but no idea of the details... I do think one should have a care about becoming a "phenomenon junkie", by which I mean buying into the ego's compulsion to make things (i.e., safety, wealth, health...) HAPPEN. These blessing, I think, should be received - which means one has to work on opening oneself. If one tries to force them, then one is stuck in the manipulative habits that landed one back here in samsara in the first place. I suppose this is what the Brits mean when they say "sticky wicket."
