Its the dedication to Ganesha that counts and not the mantras. First of all I

introduce myself to this group. I am from India and a devotee of Ganesha. While

I was searching for Ganesha's pictures on the internet, I came across this

beautiful and dedicated group.

Mantras are for improving pronunciation. U will find it hard to learn all

mantras, but actually they r Tongue Twisters. Our ancestors devised this method

of chanting mantras so that people can speak properly.

I do read all ur mails. Cya

Vanakam Arjun,

Warm welcome to you! Nice to see you sharing with us, thank you.

Yes, Sanskrit is indeed very difficult to master. In reciting

mantras, sometimes we manage to come up with cadence and sometimes we

(non-Indians) find it real hard. You've put it well -> "Tongue

Twisters".

Btw, Tamil is also very difficult to learn compared to Hindi. I used

to hear the word that sounded like "Yen-neh-leh", please if you know,

can you tell me whether it means "how are you"? Is this Tamil,

Telegu or another language? Thanks..

Ohhhhhh big mistake I didn´t eat it!!!! I thought it would be a mistake

to do so! lol! Oh Sorry Ganesha...well I didn´t give it away in

disrespect, but out of total ignorance of the practice, hope he pardons

me....!!!!

Kisses

Barbara

Ps. I feel good in my heart I mean, I wasn´t expecting nothing

miraculous to happen, but I felt well performing the puja and I also

felt some kind of caressing in my crown chakra...and a bit of inner

mouvement in the energetic level...the whole puja idea came because I

woke up one morning after sleeping with the words: "ganesha puja,

ganesha puja" and I thought it would be a good thing to do, to give

thanks for all the help received and the love of Ganesha.

You eat it yourself, darling! Offered food from a puja is called

<prasad>. The worshipper/s consume it, and the grace of the deity enters

their bodies.
