LORD GANESHA : is also known as Vighnaharta ( remover of obstacles). He is said

to have been created by Parwati, consort of Lord Shiva, from the scrub of her

body while taking bath. She placed him for the guard and ordered him that

nobody should enter the place while she was taking bath in the pool. When Lord

Shiva tried to ente , Ganesha stopped them from entering the pool, Angered by

Ganesha's refusal, Lord Shiva chopped his head. When Parvati came out after

taking bath, she was shocked to see her dead son. To console her Lord Shiva

sent his ganas to find the head of baby whose mother was sleeping showing her

back to her child. The ganas found a baby elephant whose mother was sleeping

with her back facing the baby elephant. As per orders of Lord Shiva, The ganas

cut off the head of the baby elephant and Lord Shiva placed it on the body of

Ganesha. Then Parvati raised dout that who will worship a child with head of an

elephant. Lord Shiva then blessed Ganesha that henceforth no new activity would

begin without evoking him. From that day onwards, Hindus worship Ganesha before

begining any activity so the work may be completed without hurdle. The vehicle

of Ganesha is rat. The to consorts of Ganesha are Riddhi and Siddhi. Their sons

are Laabh and Shubh and daughter is Santoshi .She is invoked to assist in

gaining personal advancement and prosperity by keeping fast on Friday.

Really????? wow...did I told you I once had a dream of the land where Ganesha

lives and I was there but I don´t know in wich form...I saw 2 sons of Ganesha a

boy and a girl I can´t tell if I was inside of their bodies or if I was

observing the whole scene. The 2 boys where going horse ridding..amazing wierd

dream...Later on, reading about Ganesha I read he had 2 sons aswell a boy and a

girl...I thought my dream was only symbolic, telling me that we are sons of

Ganesha somehow...or that he cares about us like a father towards his
