Umaanandprad Praagya, Traahi Maam Bhasaagaraat. Meaning: O Gan-naayak! O illustrious son of Mother Uma! O destroyer of all problems! You alone can help us attain success in life. Whatever be your field of work, whatever the problem that you are facing in life you should surely try this Sadhana of the Lord Ganesh. And if you are devoted and sincere the Lord shall not fail to rush to your help. Those interested in spiritual development can have added benefits from Ganapati Sadhana, for accomplishing it before commencing some Sadhana for spiritual progress can enhance one’s chances of success several times over. So if you wish to say good bye to all your troubles forever, if you want to get rid of poverty, ailments, tensions, enemies and your misfortunes then do try this ritual. The right day for this Sadhana is Ganesh Chaturthi or a Tuesday, appropriate time being 6 am to 9 am. In the Early morning get up and have a bath. Sit in yellow clothes on a yellow mat facing the East. Before yourself place a wooden seat covered with yellow cloth. On it put a copper plate and draw a Swastika with vermilion. Bathe the Ganpati Vigrah. Wipe it dry and place it in the plate. Around the plate make 12 mounds of rice dyed yellow, arrange in square form. On each mound place a puja betal nut. Offering vermilion on each nut chant the 12 names of the Lord. 1. Ganpati 2. Vighnaraj 3. Lambtund 4. Gajaanan 5.Dweimaatur 6. Heramb 7.Ekdant 8. Gannaadi 9. Vinaayak 10.Chaarukarnna 11. Pashupaal 12. Bhavaatmajah. Establish the Siddhi Gutika before the Vigrah. Offer vermilion; rice grains, yellow flowers on the Vigrah and Gutika. Light incense and a ghee lamp. Offer to the Lord the Laddoos of Besan (sweet made from gram flour). Next with a Mangal rosary chant 11 rounds of the following Mantra. Aum Gloum Gam Gannapataye Namah >After Sadhana distribute the sweets offered, among all family members.
