A good omen that He appeared in the foundations. Guess many homes would have almost similar foundations but many people may not have come across a Ganesh murti when they renovated. It must be one of those "meant to be" things, maybe a past life connection? Guess too that if Ganesha made Himself visible to the family (they found Him there), then of course He would appreciate a change of positions befitting Him.My father´s experience in India? well he seemed to enjoy his journey there but it is not his favourite country or culture to be honest with you...<<<<<< Nice that he enjoyed his journey.By the way I got a mala, from an Indian center in Malaga, they make malas with a plant called tumali? is that correct? they say its a plant very loved by Lord Krishna... (I don´t know if I wrote correctly the name of the plant..)...the beeds are quite big and raughly carved and the texture is very smooth and gentle and it seems to have very good energy...<<<<<<< As Len/Kalipadma pointed out correctly, it is a Tulasi (basil) mala. Very powerful energy. More like governed by planet Mars.We have to speak more in the future, <<<<< Would love to. I may go to India in October althought I am not very sure yet...We want to go on our first trip to India to the north, visit of course the buddhist sites<<<<<< Dharamsala and the parts near the foothills of the Himalayas. Many monasteries, nunneries and Tibetans. People are friendly and some speak English. Many tourists and travellers too. You may be able to make new friends and share experiences of the different parts visited. They will tell you which bus is good, which tour guide is good, which hostel or hotel is reasonable etc. and also hindu sites <<<<<< What parts of the North are you planning? There's Rajatyboy in New Delhi who may be able to give you some tips :-) Hey Rajat-Devaji, where are you? Please come and tell us about the places you would recommend, thanks. and also walkabout with no specific target/goal. We´ll speak more later okey?<<<<<< Ok.I´m glad to hear your body is back in full shape!<<<<< Bless you and thank you. Lots of love, Sy Platinum - Watch CBS' NCAA March Madness, live on your desktop! Guest guest
Hi Sy! Thanks for the first tips! Yes, we want to go to the area of Dharamsala...I ignore if it is there where the Body tree is...the one Buddha got enlightened (don´t remember the actual name of the place), basicaly we want to hang around without too much of a prepared plan. We have a friend who owns a restaurant and who has invited us to stay in his home in the north , quite close to Rishikesh...wich is another place we want to visit. We also wanted to go to Buthan but apparently you need to go with an organised tour and it is not easy to get it since it seems to be a country that establishes a limited quota of tourists/per year...I don´t know if this is still true or they have changed...I haven´t yet informed myself as you can see... Nontheless we may not go this october, we will go with the flow ....maybe we go maybe we leave it for a bit later on... About the tulasi beads, it has a strong energy...I didn´t know the basil was connected to planet Mars... Thanks a lot for your warmth and your help I trully appreciate it... tons of hugs and love Barbara
