types of malas for chanting to Ganesha...

Namaste Len Kalipadma,

 

I was informed of the same regarding 5-Face Rudraksha malas. About

sandalwood, I heard both rudraksha and sandalwood are as good for

worshipping Ganesha. Btw, there is the usual sandalwood, then there

is "Red Sandalwood" which is actually "Rosewood".

 

Eeeek! when it comes to ivory. Ganesha will not approve.

 

Haven't seen tagua nuts before nor heard about them till now, thanks

for telling us. Any more info on tagua nuts? What is the origin?

Are the malas expensive? Any info or pics will be much appreciated.

 

What a great idea! Would love to see pendants of Maa Parvati holding

baby Ganesh too. Wonder if anyone out there makes them.....
