Guest guest
Call me whatever you want, I don't mind :-) Nice to hear your mother was from Sydney too but most sorry to know she passed on when you were 9 years old. Hope you had a happy childhood and adolescence nevertheless. We have something in common! Like you, sometimes I forget that we should live in the "Now" instead of dwelling on the past or thinking about the future. Great you are continuing to work on purification of the body from tobacco. You know more about sounds and prana than I do. Hope to hear more as you go along! Om Shree Ganeshaya Namah Sy aqesa <aqesa > wrote: Hi Dear Syji!hey once more thanks a lot for the links!!!! I am going to call you Mummy if you continue like this! (Not for age reasons but for helping reasons! Besides my mom was from Sydney too)..about memories and forgetting stuff from trips well I am like you. Two years ago I went to Mexico and I forgot the names of the streets where we lived and so on...I am very bad with this sort of memory. Child memory is also gone since I blocked that part of the mind when my mother died when I was 9 years old... Not having memories too much is also healthy but non the less inspite of my bad memory I used to look too much into the past, forgetting to live the Here and Now...(trying to arrange that now!)Reading information on Sound and spirituality is being quite interesting indeed. It is another way of working with prana and breathing, since the voice is another manifestation of the breath..Intuitively I think i must be working on the purification of the body from tobacco and that´s why I am singing and exploring this aspect.Tons of hugs!Barbara Tax Center - File online, calculators, forms, and more
Guest guest
Namaste Syji! Well, I experienced parts of a sad youth since her death, and some blockages due to this absence, but I think I am over it now (We cannot always tell if we have overcome this or not but it has been an important loss in my life). Well for buddhist and I imagine other spiritual traditions, sound is connected with breathing and prana but sound is also communication and it is related to the throat chakra. This chakra is in Buddhist terms one of our three main psychic centers, home of the sound AH wich could be a sound connected with intrinsec awareness the closest words to our buddha nature that I can find to describe it. The 3 psychic centers are Body (head, OM) Speech (Throat AH) and Heart-mind (HUM) and they also relate to the three kayas or vehicles: Nirmanakaya, Sambogakhaya and Dharmakaya wich are more complicated to explain but it would be a threefold expression of our buddha nature. The physical form is related to Nirmanakaya, the energy of the dharma or the sacred speech of the Buddhas is related to samboghakaya and the heart-mind of the buddhas is the Dharmakaya. All three are in fact never separated and are thus ONE. In all spiritual traditions, we work with the mind and observing thoughts is part of the work to be done, avoiding negative thought patterns of behaviour etc. Well, wrong speech, gossip and all that is also seen as pure contamination for our spiritual unfoldment. As journalist I have witnessed first hand all of this wrong speech cause I had the misfortune or fortune to work 4 years in a super famous gossip tv show where all the words pronounced were the worst of gossiping...!!! In my past, previous to starting my spiritual path, I had a quite negative attitude and was a complaining person all the time. I feel this has affected the SPEECH center. Realising this I now try to do my best to avoid those patterns of behaviour and thru mantra purification I foccus on this part of my past to transform this ...I wasn´t a gosspier but I was a complainer LOL! All the best Barbara
Guest guest
Namaste Barbji, Sorry to hear you experienced sadness in your youth and blockages due to the loss of your mother. We have something in common - my mother passed on when I was 8 years old. However, I experienced to some degree what you went through so I fully understand what you mean. Only in my case, I was kept very busy at boarding school (Christian school) and didn't have time to grief until much later. Yes it is difficult to tell if we ever overcome this kind of loss as it had been a kind of vacuum. Thank you for sharing about sound, prana, breathing, chakra, etc. It is very interesting. I've come across this in dribs and drabs so it is lovely to read your information, thank you. Much agree with you about avoiding negative thoughts, wrong speech and gossip. I believe speech is also a form of mantra. I always remember someone telling me long ago that people would not like using the wrong mantras so we should not use wrong or damaging speech. You a 'complainer'.... lol...!! Its hard to imagine you like that but yes I believe you. Great that you've risen above all that. I come across many 'complainers' over here. We call them 'whingers' :-) Om Shree Ganeshaya Namah, Sy , "aqesa" <aqesa> wrote: > Namaste Syji! > > Well, I experienced parts of a sad youth since her death, and some > blockages due to this absence, but I think I am over it now (We cannot > always tell if we have overcome this or not but it has been an > important loss in my life). > > Well for buddhist and I imagine other spiritual traditions, sound is > connected with breathing and prana but sound is also communication and > it is related to the throat chakra. Guest guest
Hi Sy-ji Sorry to hear that we share our Mom´s death. My condolances... Yes! I am a little bit complainer! lol!!! but I tend to complain like a little girl lol and I normaly complain asking for more spiritual growth LOL!!! as if I had to ask to someone exterior to give me that ! I better work and shut up! LOL!!!!!! (kidding) I have worked a lot with acceptance of situations and developping patience, BELIEVE ME!!!! lol!!!! I was a kind of rushy person always wanting things fast, and now I have balanced this side a lot. It is not perfect yet but...it is on its way.... Explain me more about the complainers you have around you---where do you "have them"? you mean in a spiritual center? or what exactly it is?? Kisses and huggies!
