Namaste Barbji,

Thanks for your kind words. About spiritual growth, we all have to

work at it. You are right, it is the kind of evolvement that nobody

can give us. It's something that money can't buy either :-)

Lovely to know you are learning the art of patience. You will find it

is very rewarding as time goes on. I was very much like you when

younger so I know what it's like. Best to go with the flow of life

and whatever it brings. What is not meant to be, cannot be forced to

take place.

You really want to hear about the 'complainers'? One is a couple who

go from organisation to organisation and pay money to learn this or

that. One day they found that one guru's method contradicted another.

These gurus are of different traditions so their methods are

different.

Then they complained one said "Namah" and the other one

said "Namaha". (In God's language, I wonder what the 'great'

difference is. Anyone wishing to add to this, comment or advise,

please do so. Your input would be very welcome and appreciated.)

They are well-to-do people but live beyond their means and then

complain there is not enough money. They have everything they want

but nothing is ever enough. (When nothing is ever enough, there is

always dissatisfaction. Those who are grateful for what they already

have, are generally happier - when they strive for that bit more and

achieve it, they tend to appreciate all the fruits of their labour

and use them wisely.)

The second 'complainer' lives in a nice home, has a nice car, works

at a well-paid job, buys new clothes all the time and eats well. She

inherited money a couple of times. She drinks alcohol and took in an

unemployed man with bi-polar disorder to live with her. They go to

clubs and play poker machines for 'recreation'. She complains

that 'life is very hard'..

Another 'complainer' once got on the phone and the first sentence

was "This and that happened to me, I got sick, I had this problem,

that problem, this person did this, that person did that, I can't

understand this, that, the other, etc., everything is happening,

there is something wrong with the planets!!!!! Can you do something

about it?!!!!!!"......

What am I supposed to do? Go to outer space and align the planets?

In any case, there are always malefic or weak planets in everybody's

horoscope. No one horoscope is perfect, don't you think?

Luv,

Sy

I totally agree with your conclusions about patience in life. I see

now what you mean by "complainers" ...Life and the spiritual path has

taught me not to act that way nor think in that way. Instead of

looking at things as if the glass is half empty, I have learned to

observe myself and check what is wrong in what I do, think, feel

before complaining to life or others. If it is in my hands to make

the pertinent improvements I do them and then, life seems a bit more

lighter and illuminated...this is for me the path...working with

ourself in all the improvements we can make, expanding our vision and

gradually let go of all our weight, illusory weight....

Love

Barbara
