Here is some information on Mandar Ganesh:

Mandar is sanskrit name for Calotropis procera.

If someone worships mandar tree continuously for twenty one years

with watering the mandar tree and offers sandalwood paste, red lead

and flowers on the roots of the tree then one can see the shape of

Ganesh. This is one type of Mandar Ganesh.

 

Second type of Mandar Ganesh, is when someone worships mandar tree

for some time and then from the wood of mandar tree he carves an

idol.

Dear frds,

 

yup, its definitely trye that SHWETAARKA Ganapati (GANAPATI OF WHITE

MANDAAR) is a cery powerful prayoga & is rather termed as KALPA , as

its rituals can be used not only for attaining financial succes but

most of the problems by specifying the specific problem in sankalpa,

but at same time its really disheartning to see people being fooled

in its name (by what limited knowledge i have ).

Firstly , the existence of white madaar/arka tree is verry rare & one

can call it grr8 luck to have it (& i by grace of my GURUDEVAS

YOUNGER BROTHER am lucky enough to have had darshans of both shweta

arka ganapati& lakhsmi as well of tree).

Secondly, its not that one has to offer prayers for 21 yrs or

something but SHREE GANAPATI is naturally built in every white

mandaar treees ROOT , i repeat ROOT !!!!!

 

Thirdly , the ganapati self buit is not like the complete picture we

conceive but we find a small turn at end of root as trunk.. tats the

naturally formed ganapati

 

fourthy, yes SHREE GANAPATI can be carved from mandaar tree but one

does not use , the trunk/wood but the root (a very hollow wood) of

the tree & only a verry experienced artist can carve out as it is

completely hollow.

also, can be carved BHAGWATI LAKSHMI & then the pair be offered

secretive prayers (well , not that secretive rather very usual ones

but the only thing is people are not aware ,lol, apart from some

specific guidelines)....

 

newaz , yup its really very auspicios & powerful rite but .......as

usual beware of buyig things !!!!!!!
