In-"Syzenith" syzenith's message of Mon, 28 Jul 2003 09:49:26 -0000 OK I am confused about something-can someone help me? According to my Hindu calendar the celebration of Ganesh Chaturthi is from August 22-31st this year. But reading some websites online it says that we put the clay idol of Ganesh in the water 10 days after his birthday-which is on the 30th this year-in that 10 day span do we also celebrate with gifts and sweet, and if so that would mean the whole celebration is actually 20 days long? Can someone please straighten this out for me, I would really appreciate it, thank you so much Keri There is nothing more pure than the love of an animal.
