Robert G. Klein, associate justice of the Hawai'i Supreme Court from 1992-2000, and currently in private practice, authored the landmark decisions on Native Hawaiian traditional and customary rights. Hon. Joe Williams, Chief Judge of the Maori Land Court and Chair of the Waitangi Tribunal, is an internationally recognized expert in indigenous rights law and has been instrumental in insuring that Maori value systems are acknowledged in the Aotearoa-New Zealand judicial system.
