MADIKERI: Kannada Sahithya Parishath Madikeri taluk, Natha Sampradaya Samithi, Karnataka and Kodagu Patrika Bhavan Trust jointly organised an endowment lecture in memory of the late Kogga Jogi and Gangamma at Patrika Bhavan Hall here. The key note address was given by AK Shankarnarayana Bhat. He said that since vedic times, Indians have been searching for God. Though there are number of mutts and swamjis who teach various routes and philosophies, all aim towards the "one"as all the rivers reach the ocean in the end. Bhat also said that the whole world is looking at India as it is a guide to the whole world in spirititual matters. He also said that temples, mutts and idols are required for basic religious teachings. Once these stages are covered one can see God or "the ultimate truth." Natha tradition will guide seekers of God, he added. The function was presided over by the Madikeri taluk Kannada Sahithya Parishath president K T Baby Mathew. The Dhynayoga guide of the Natha tradition, BK Subbaiah inaugurated the function. B G Ananthshayana made the inaugural address. The president of Nath Tradition, Ramachandra gave the introductory speech. BG Ananathshayana released a souvenir. BK Subbaiah and village panchayat president Nalini Ramesh were felicitated.
