Guest guest
John, Mike, I am very interested in this overload of energy that you have been talking about and have experienced. I am no where near this level yet, but I want to know more about this because I'm trying to cultivate my chi, and also because my masters thesis topic is about how this life force energy affects other people when you have a lot of it. I'm a psychotherapist in training, and part of my research for my thesis is about the healing energy that gets transmitted from therapist to client. When I become a therapist, is it possible that my energy is so strong that it could adversely affect clients?! How do you learn how to control your energy? My yoga teacher says that she gets sick from the energy from kundalini yoga retreats/conventions where there are over 200 people. Looking forward to your input, thanks Audrey
Guest guest
Audrey, this is my take, FWIW..) when i started pumping energy, if i was in close contact with someone too long, i would make people sick ,ie, especially headaches and nausia(sp) this put a damper on dating...lol my girlfriend couldn't even sleep in the same bed.when we were in a car together, she would make make keep the window rolled down and would tell me to throw it out the window.i reall never learned to control it, but i worked very hard on increasing the cooler energy.that seems to help a whole lot. there are easy techniques in chi gong for "cooling " off. i am an occupational therapy student leaning heavily towards alternative practice. i have leared to more or less slip into neutral when i am around patients, especially kids and the elderly. i also find if i am really running hot, a long tantric session helps to dissipiate the energy for awhile. kundalini really changed my life, some good , and some maybe not so good, but hey, what the heck, better than getting hooked on foot ball and beer...lol mike@the living-night-light
