Guest guest
I found a page where this guy Kurt Keutzer seems to be an authority on the subject--he gives some good answers to questions about kundalini. He also believes that kundalini is awakened by helping others. Here's the quote: How do I awaken kundalini? Indirectly, kundalini can be awakened by devotion, by selfless service, or by intellectual inquiry. In these paths the blocks to the awakening of kundalini are slowly removed... He also compares chi gong to kundalini yoga in this quote: Is Chinese qi gong a kind of kundalini yoga? If there is any contemporary teaching that is even more diverse in approach than kundalini yoga it must be qi gong. As a result it is hard to compare kundalini yoga to qi gong. From my limited exposure to qi gong, it is clear there are many qi gong practices that are identical to kundalini yoga practices. What is also clear is that many qi gong practitioners have reported experiences that are identical to those of kundalini yogins. In so far as each of these practices aims at eliminating blocks to the qi/prana energy, then they share a common ground. Guest guest
Dear Madhya Nandi: Since having begun receiving mail from both the Tantra Sadhana and Kundalini Yoga Lists, it is rare to have ever been found at any kind of loss for inspiration - Madhya - beautifully written beautifully said.. I Thank YOU! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I was wondering if the kriya nicknamed "ego eradicator" by 3HO Teachers in the 60's continued to "earn" it's "reputation" and if possible could be outlined by Rattana Khalsa... the pose I believe - is arms next to ears extended over head with hands clasped and index fingers pointing upwards. etc. etc. (?) ******** All 108 positions were at one time assumed by all of us before.... in the womb of our Mothers.... Also - as a Mother over 40 - has anyone begun teaching a Children's Yoga Class??? Are there any available texts via 3HO? (specifically for toddlers and pre-teens) Yoga for Beginners - absolutely. !!! My gratitude in advance for your kind attention in answering this post. Sat Nam. If it is 3:00 a.m. where you are - channels are clear! Hope to hear from India on 300th Sikh Anniversary Celebration coming up next month. Auspicious time. .. .. .. . for us all...
