Guest guest
Hello, I am new to this list and was hoping to learn about Kudalini Yoga. May I ask, how do I begin, from where may I start to learn? Are there any websites to look up? I am not sure I can afford to buy books on yoga. thank you

I am so excited by this prospect. I have been searching for something like this for sometime. Thank you and Gordon for your work towards this end. The yin and the yang and the feminine and masculine are the two polarities that challenge us in every form of our human experience. And here they are again. The mastery of both and their integration are all part of our spiritual path. Some of the points made, I feel are very accurate for me. I summarize them by saying that what we are searching for is the balanced or the highest expression of the two poles. The surrender or receptive path is not giving up or relinquishing our participation, but being totally allowing and aware of what is happening. The action and discipline path, is not beating ourselves up, but consciously choosing to practice the techniques that keep us healthy, vital and more and more alive. > I suppose I am a true seeker because any answer I get to my questions brings up many more questions. (What joy there is in the learning of a thing!) When you speak here of ying and yang, you say we should try to attain/master the highest expression of these. Would you please go into more detail as to what these are? And I think I see an interesting correlation between this discussion and what is the aim of kundalini yoga. Are the two topics intertwined? Guest guest
Hi and welcome to Kundaliniyoga We have a lot of bookmarks pointing to websites covering various aspects of Kundalini Yoga. However, best advice would be to find a class in your area. Look up the IKYTA (International Kundalini Yoga Teachers Association) site from our bookmark area (the FAQ explains how to get there) - they have teachers listed by state. We are working on an introduction for beginners which will be placed on our new website as soon as possible. This will cover the fundamental building blocks for Kundalini Yoga. Also we expect to be running courses on here from the fall. If you need any more help, please ask. Sat Nam Gordon >Soloebe > >Hello, I am new to this list and was hoping to learn about Kudalini Yoga.
