Guest guest
Hi! I am new to the list and am quite unfamilliar as to what Kundalini Yoga is all about, I have just scratched the surface of information on it and find myself VERY drawn but slightly apprehensive at the same time. In the last couple of years I've had 'thoughts' floating around in my head regarding the direction of my spiritual pathway, drawn to books, workshops and meditation. The block that is set up for me now is finding a teacher for Kundalini Yoga. Anyways, I will continue my quest and look forward to the wealth of information that I'm sure will come my way by being on this list. regards, Kathy Surrey, BC Canada ssminnow

How far are you from Vancouver? Thank you for the welcome! I am about 30 minutes from Vancouver. I was told by a local Yoga instructor that there were no Kundalini teachers in the Lower Mainand...I didn't trust the advice and have been searching none the less...{{sigh}}...I know I will meet up with one soon, even if I have to go into Washington. >There are many KY >courses taught there. Guest guest
Dear Kathy, Welcome to our KYlist. How far are you from Vancouver? There are many KY courses taught there. And stay tuned because we are going to share a lot about KY right here and in our soon to be unveiled website. The block that is set up for me now is finding a teacher for > Kundalini Yoga. > Anyways, I will continue my quest and look forward to the wealth of > information that I'm sure will come my way by being on this list. I would suggest rewording the above to align with the spirit you set out in the following sentence. How about--My intention now is to find or attract to me a teacher for KY. It is an old adage, but it seems to still be true--When the student is ready, the teacher appears. Blessings and Sat Nam! Rattana
Guest guest
Dear Kathy, Contact dharm. Dharm Kaur is an old friend of mine and teaches in Vancouver. Voila! Plenty of teachers! > >I would suggest rewording the above to align with the spirit you set out in > >the following sentence. > > > >How about--My intention now is to find or attract to me a teacher for KY. > > > Very good...I knew as I was typing it that your words were the ones echoing > in my head, thank you for bringing that to my attention. :-} I include the above to point out that we already know and are always guided by our soul. Our challenge is only to listen, pay attention and then follow our inner guidance. A big challenge, but also very possible. This is great news for all of us! Sat Nam! One who considers himself to be a disciple of the True Guru Should rise before the coming of the light and contemplate the Name. During the early hous of the morning he should rise and bathe, Cleansing his soul in a tank of Nectar, while he repeats the Name the Guru has spoken to him.
