Guest guest
Hi to All The following was announced last week by ONElist. The Grow to Give program sounds like something we could aim for, certainly on a percentage basis of new members. We've gained quite a lot over the last day or so, following an announcement I put out on the New List Mailing List, and I'm sure quite a few of them are new to ONElist. As soon as the saga over the Website URL is finalised, we aim to start a major web marketing exercise including linking to other sites. If anyone else wants to volunteer to join our active helpers on this, please mail me off-list. Other ways you can help boost membership - mention us to any friends who may be interested, both in real life and also cyberville, or on any other newsgroups that you post to, leave messages on bulletin boards, and ask folk you know with websites if they are prepared to link to us. Any other suggestions on ways to market ourselves would be great. I'd like to take this opportunity of welcoming all our new rs to Kundaliniyoga. You are obviously curious about Kundalini Yoga. Take a look over the Website, especially the section under KYINTRO - there is a lot of information there, including a basic KY spinal exercise set, which is very stimulating indeed. I started myself with that one last summer, so can recommend it to you personally. We can't possibly answer all your questions from what is contained on the site. Yes, you can go to our comprehensive links section and search, but better still to come on here and ask - we have a lot of friendly folk in our community, at all levels of expertise, who will be delighted to help answer your queries. To everyone I would say, enjoy your Kundalini Yoga Sat Nam! Gordon >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> ONElist Tech Support <admin > Dear Moderators: In the ONElist spirit of community, we are pleased to announce ONEreach. ONEreach is an initiative by ONElist to periodically sponsor fun and interactive programs that encourage the growth of your communities while simultaneously contributing to them. It is our hope that the ONEreach initiative will foster even stronger communities around the common interests and causes that have brought your communities together in the first place. We are kicking off ONEreach today with the "Grow to Give" Program. Through the "Grow to Give" Program, ONElist will donate $5,000 to each of two charities chosen by the two communities that grow their membership the most within the next two months. The community that grows the most in actual new ONElist rs and the community that grows the most as a percentage basis of new ONElist rs will each choose a recipient charity. ONElist will then donate $5,000 to that charity in the name of the community. All ONElist communities as of April 19, 1999 at 12:01 a.m. PDT are automatically participants in the "Grow to Give" Program. The program will run from April 19, 1999 through June 19, 1999 at 11:59 p.m. PDT. As moderators, we encourage you to inform your communities about the "Grow to Give" Program and our overall ONEreach initiative. The Program Overview is posted on our website at: /info/onereachsplash.html Good luck to you and your community on becoming a "Grow to Give" Community!! Guest guest
Hi to All Further to my previous message - one other source of potential new rs is, of course, classmates, for those of you who are attending KY classes at the moment! Tell them about this list. I have appended the original announcement, as we have gained quite a few new members even since yesterday. Sat Nam!
