Guest guest
Hi to All For those of you who may now be working from our Spinal Exercise Set, as detailed on the Website, it has been pointed out today that we did not include sufficient information regarding breathing techniques. The following note has been added to the site, and is reproduced below for your information. If anyone has any queries about this, or about any other aspect of the Set, or indeed of the Website as a whole, please ask on here. Sat Nam! Gordon >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Breathing and Mantra The powerful effects of the Kundalini exercises are attained by combining movement, breath and mantra. In Kundalini yoga we either coordinate a powerful inhale and exhale with the movement or do long deep breathing or breath of fire (explained in the notes below) with poses that are held. All breathing during the exercises, both the inhale and the exhale, is done only through the nose with the mouth closed, unless otherwise specified. The use of a mantra, chanted internally helps to focus the mind and clean the subconscious mind. The mantra that we use is Sat Nam (explained in notes below). During the exercises, mentally chant Sat on the inhale and Nam on the exhale. (GKK)
