Many of us are still trying to figure out how to do that! .

There are many things to say about the mind. The technique that I would

like to share is to focus, not on the mind, but on the sensations in your

body. Allow and experience everything that is happening in your body. And

at the same time allow and include all thoughts. When a thought comes up

that takes away your attention from your sensations, ask yourself--How does

this thought make me feel? And then go back to the feelings or sensations

in your body.

You will have to work with this technique for a while to really get it.

Actually, this technique can be practiced your whole life. The more we

feel, the more our awareness opens up. We start with the body, but our

awareness expands as we become more sensitive.

Just keep practicing this mindful awareness of your feelings.

> And what is the different of samadhi and meditation?

Eventually they are the same thing. In the meantime, meditation is how to

reach samadhi.

Blessings,

Rattana

Dear Pal:

Wearing out meditations is akin to wearing out clothes. After a few days,

even the nicest designer clothing begins to become stale.

Change your meditation. Stop. Go for a walk. Listen to nature. Go to the

beach. Go to the mountains. Go shopping. Meditate where you feel renewed.

The meditation must suit the meditator, not vice-versa.

Hey, when do you work or eat, by the way?

LOL

Blessings
